Planting bulbs before the winter break begins

At the September Work Party by the pond, in spite of several regulars being away, we had 8 volunteers attending, including 3 dogs! Neil collected fly tipping on the byway near Bridleways, Keith & John cleared branches & logs from the pond & cut back brambles & weeds near the left bridge, while the rest of us weeded around the seats & paved area.

Our next and last Work Party of the year will be on 5th October 10-12.00 Midday, when we will be planting snowdrops & crocuses by the pond. Hopefully we will have had some rain by then to soften the ground.
