Activities

Rectory Farm Pocket Park group meets regularly between February and October of each year. Please note the times change depending on the season. We take a break during the winter. You are most welcome to join us for any of these activities.

Activities for 2024

Saturday 6th April     Environmental Day   2-4pm   

Meet at the top of the park on the narrow pathway to the Bridleways, behind Fellmead Road


Saturday 4th May     Environmental Day   2-4pm   

Meet at the top of Cransley Walk opposite Olden Road


Saturday 8th June     Environmental Day   10-12 Midday 

Meet by the pond behind Huntsmead and Healey Close


Saturday 6th July     Environmental Day   10-12 Midday  

Meet at the top of the park on the narrow pathway to the Bridleways, behind Fellmead Road


Family summer activity 

Saturday 10th August     10-12 Midday     20th Anniversary Picnic and Pond Dipping   

Meet by the pond behind Huntsmead and Healey Close, bring a picnic to eat after the session. Please take your rubbish away when finished.

Please note no group November and December 2024 or January 2025. Our AGM will take place in February 2025. New outdoor season will begin in March 2025. 


        

Copies of Child Protection Policy & Complaints Procedure available on request

Children under 8 to be accompanied by Parent/Guardian

Equipment provided.

Most activities are outdoors, please dress appropriately.


Walks –

As part of the Rectory Farm Ramble project a leaflet was developed with suggested walks using Rectory Farm Pocket Park. Pick up your copy at the Premier Supermarket, Olden Road, NN3 5DD.
